Greetings from Mexico!
I have two verses in my kitchen window……Psalm 17:6 “I call on You, my God, for You will answer me; turn Your ear to me and hear my prayer.
Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
I have so much to be thankful for. The support from friends and family both prayer and financial. It means so much. I have a lot of alone time, but I’m so thankful my mom is here with me. My mom has been living down here in Mexico since my dad passed away 9 years ago. Another one of my many blessings is that Howard is no longer suffering, but is with our Heavenly Father!! I miss him every day, but I’m thankful he is with his Savior.
With Denver and Katie in Canada for 6 months and just getting back before we would start the course, there wasn’t much time to get organized. And then for different reasons and not enough students enrolled, the decision was made to cancel this next course. It was hard to process, but we see God’s providence and His faithfulness. Our plans are not His, we continue to look to Him in all things and at the end of the day, this continues to be HIS ministry. This extra time will be good for the leadership as they meet several times a week and can evaluate and plan for the future. There have been many changes with Howard and me out of the picture over the last two years. Plans will continue to come about as we move forward as a ministry, trusting in God. Next on the docket for CEC, is a 5-day conference at the end of February. I am looking forward to helping out in the kitchen.
Thank you everyone for your encouraging words, notes and phone calls.
Love and prayers,
Susan
